What Is A Family?

Family can be defined as "a group of people who share common attitudes, interests and goals." That is what we are. Crossroads is a supportive & caring community.

The clubhouse tries to raise awareness of our program by having a family friendly event once a month, we invite family members & friends to participate in our wellness & leisure activities and enjoy a delicious meal. Tours of the Clubhouse are also available to any interested. The relationships developed at Crossroads are an important part of continued growth & success!

Crossroads and Mental Health Services are committed to connecting with families. We recognize that the family experience is very valuable, unique and important in terms of understanding how we can best support a person's efforts towards recovery.

Crossroads and Mental Health Services invite families to:

• Take a tour of our community (call 567-2647)
• Join the Crossroads Advisory Committee
• Join the Family Working Group - a group of family members who work on special education projects with Mental Health Services
• Access our educational resources (e.g. information packages on Schizoprenia, Bipolar Affective Disorder, Depression, written by and for families, etc)
• Find your voice and join one of our mental health committees
