Business & Clerical

In our unit, the members and staff are responsible for the clerical & business needs of the Clubhouse. This unit offers members the opportunity to develop their office skills. With members learning new skills and sharing their creativity, they help keep the Clubhouse running smoothly and efficiently. Some of the work we are responsible for includes:

• Production of the monthly newsletter, entitled "The Password"
• Typing, photocopying, shredding, laminating, mailing, faxing, filing, etc.
• Distribution of birthday cards
• Production of meal tickets for our lunch and supper program
• Ordering of supplies
• Running our reception area (i.e. greeting members & visitors, operating Crossroads' main telephone line)
• Payment of bills
• Allocation of petty cash
